Hops Rhizome, Triumph - alpha 9- 12%
A hop worthy of being in the class of ‘Noble Hops’ with it’s infusion of noble genes, Triumph is a dual purpose hop with higher bittering qualities and distinct fruity flavors and aromas of peach, lime and orange. Some even describe it as “Bazooka Gum” or “Peach Stone”. Released in 2019 by the USDA public breeding program in Corvallis Oregon. Triumph Hops were developed by John Henning a research geneticist there and named after his favorite motorcycle, the Triumph. After years of breeding and testing, crossing East Goldings, Brewer’s Gold, Nugget and Hallertau Mittelfruh hops Henning produced a variety of hop with an exciting blend of flavors and aromas as well as a bittering character that can be used in a wide range of styles and throughout the different stages in brewing.
