Evening Primrose Seeds
Oenothera biensis
A large hardy plant producing six foot tall stalks of yellow flowers that open in the late afternoon and begin to fade by morning. Also, called evening star from the fact that the petals emit phosphorescent light at night. The roots have long been eaten as a vegetable. Recently the seeds received attention for their medicinal uses. Smells lightly like lemons.
