Northern Brewer Certified Organic Hops Rhizome
Developed in England in 1934 from a cross between a female hop of wild American parentage and an English male. Grown in Europe and America as a dual-purpose hop, but mainly used for bittering in combination with other hops. Woody/earthy/fruity aroma and flavor. It also adds a touch of mint to the aroma.
Used For: Porters, Ales, ESBs, German Lagers.
Substitutes: Hallertaur, Pride of Ringwood. Can be hard to find.
