Native to damp places in Mongolia and Northern China and named for Nikolai Przehevalsky. This hardy perrenial is grown for its attractive deeply cut foliage and spectacular spikes of bright yellow flwoers that bloom from July through August. In China, Ligularia przewalskiiis known as a medicinal plant. The root contains thirteen compounds, some with antibacterial properties.
Also known as Przewalskii's Leopard Plant and Przewalskii's Golden Ray.
