Citra HBC 394 This dual purpose hop was developed by Hop Breeding Company and released in 2007. It's ancestry includes Hallertauer, US Tettnanger, Brewers's Gold and East Kent Golding. Citra is extremely popular for it's citrus qualities as well as the flavor and aroma of peach, apricot, melon, goosberry and every tropical fruit you can imagine. Used to brew: American Ale, IPA, Pale Ale. Alpha acid - 11-15% Beta acid - 3-4.5% Co-humulone - 20-24% Myrcene - 60-70% Humulene - 7-12% Total Oil -1.5 - 3 mL/100
