Viper's Bugloss Seeds

Description and Uses: This herb forms a rosette of long narrow leaves flat to the ground. The stems and leaves are covered with bristly hairs, each having a lighter green spot at its base, giving them a polka dot appearance. Flowers of rose to blue appear on curved spikes in the second year. An infusion of Viper's Bugloss is used medicinally to aid fevers, headaches, and nervous complaints.
Seed Germinating Tips: Plant outdoors in spring after danger of frost, or indoors 6 weeks before last frost. Barely cover with fine soil, pressing firmly. Be sure to keep moist of cover with clear plastic to retain moisture.
