East Indian Basil Seeds
Ocimum gratissimum
Also known as 'Tree Basil', this basil can be an awesome plant if grown under the right conditions. In the Southern states you may get it to go year-round! Lightly felted lime green leaves are strongly clove scented and are excellent for culinary uses. Its sturdy stems are brown and the flowers are a pale yellow.
Seed Germinating Tips: Plant outdoors in spring after danger of frost, or indoors 6 weeks before last frost. Cover seed 1/8” with fine soil, pressing firmly. Keep moist.
