We host several great events throughout the year, starting in early spring with our Earth Day Celebration, then Art in the Garden in May and wrapping up with our Fall Salmon Celebration in autumn. We also host summer tours and luncheons and rent our beautiful venue for weddings and other special events like baby showers or reunions.
Fall Salmon Celebration

Don't miss our Salmon Walk and Herbal Dinner. Come and experience this beautiful event when the salmon come back to their spawning grounds to complete their life cycle while starting a new one. Then feast on a six course homemade herbal dinner from appetizers to dessert. The day will start at one o'clock with appetizers and beverages (you are welcome to bring your own wine with no corking fee) followed by a walkabout to see the salmon spawning in our streams and hear details of our restoration projects. Enjoy finding clues from our Earth Factoid Scavenger Hunt, stroll the forest paths and browse our gorgeous herb starts. Herbal refreshments available for purchase.

Art in the Garden

The Thyme Garden’s Art in the Garden Mother’s Day Festival is a favorite for regional gardeners and residents and we sincerely hope you can join us in 2025!
The festival features artists, food and music against the backdrop of The Thyme Garden’s 2-acre display gardens and 80 acres of rambling forest paths.
The event brings together artisans from all over Oregon and Southern Washington. The music lineup features a wide range of musical talents like acoustic guitar and vocals, bluegrass, marimbas and horns.
Food is available for purchase from 11am-3pm or until sold out. Wine and beer will also be available for purchase, with complimentary samples of herbal appetizers and May Wine served as well—a highlight for many festival goers.
